A 26-year-old man sustained a stab wound to his right arm after being confronted by five men who accused him of robbing a woman of her cellphone in Zwelisha – KZN today (Friday).
According to the victim, the woman was brought to confirm whether he was the suspect. She allegedly stated that he was not the person involved in the robbery. Despite this, one of the men then produced a knife and stabbed the victim once in the arm. The injured man was transported privately to a medical facility for treatment.
The suspects, who are known to the victim, fled the scene prior to the arrival of members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA).
