West Coast Medical Rescue is currently on scene at a drowning incident on Langebaan main beach.
Reports from the scene indicate an adult male was recovered from the water by a kite surfer after he was found unresponsive. NSRI Lifeguards initiated CPR efforts on scene before Paramedics from West Coast Medical Rescue took over Resuscitation efforts.
Unfortunately, after extensive efforts by everyone, the patient was declared deceased on scene. Langebaan SAPS and Metro EMS are also on scene. Our thoughts are with the family of the deceased.
