A stray bullet struck a residence in Foresthaven – KZN yesterday afternoon (Monday) following reports of gunfire in the area.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to a property after receiving calls for assistance. On arrival, Reaction Officers were informed by the homeowner that his son had been seated in his bedroom when multiple gunshots were heard emanating from the area before a stray bullet struck the window.
According to witnesses, a white double-cab Isuzu bakkie was observed pursuing a silver Toyota Land Cruiser at the time the shots were fired. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain
unknown.
No injuries were reported.
